I help C-section mumma’s feel supported, encouraged, educated and humoured through their own c-section journeys, to achieve peace with their birthing experience and flourish in life. My approach is to teach them how to love and care for themselves physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

my story
I've been there, so I understand.
I made it, and you can too.
It's a hard balancing act, being a c-section mother, especially if your newest addition is not your only babe. To put your self-care as a priority can feel like a real mission, and it isn’t uncommon for this to lead to burnout and stress, resulting in less than ideal outcomes in both mind and body healing.
I'm not an exception. I didn't take care of myself at first. Through time, growth, experience and reflection, I made peace with my birth stories, and the scars on my body. Follow along to find out how you can make peace with your story, and put all the pieces of your mosaic puzzle back together, too.

Welcome to my blog!
Becoming a mother is a transformative experience, and for me, that journey involved three c-sections - two unplanned, and one because I’d already had 2. Each birth brought its own challenges and triumphs, leaving me with a deep understanding of the unique experiences c-section moms face. This blog was born from my desire to support, educate, and connect with other mothers who share this journey.
Why did I choose to start a c-section blog? It began with my own story. My first c-section was unexpected and overwhelming. I felt unprepared and isolated, longing for resources and a community that truly understood what I was going through. I realized that many mothers face similar feelings of isolation and confusion, and I wanted to create a space where they could find the support they needed, and process their birth experiences with like-minded women.
Education is a cornerstone of this blog. I aim to provide accurate, helpful information about c-sections, from preparing for surgery to recovery tips and long-term health considerations. Knowledge is empowering, and I believe that informed mothers can make the best choices for themselves and their families.
Motherhood, especially post-c-section, can be incredibly tough, and sometimes the best way to cope is to laugh. Humor is also an essential element of my blog, and I’ll be sharing funny anecdotes and lighthearted moments to help build a community where we can support each other while also finding joy in the shared absurdities of our experiences. I hope you find Maternal Mosaic a welcoming, informative, and supportive environment. Whether you’re preparing for your first c-section, in the midst of recovery, or reflecting on your experience years later, this blog is for you.
Join me in embracing our strength, sharing our stories, and finding the humor in our unique motherhood journeys. Become an important voice in the conversation, and join me over a latte.
